Cannabis Tea

A tea made from cannabis leaves and roots is a traditional household drink in Jamaica, brewed by "Roots Daughters" for their families. While doing research for a book on herbal medicines, the uses and benefits of the tea were documented by Melanie Dreher, RN and presented to our Third Clinical Conference on Cannabis Therapeutics held in Charlottesville, VA in May of 2004.

A scientific analysis of cannabis tea was commissioned by the Office of Medicinal Cannabis in the Netherlands. The researcher was Arno Hazecamp, PhD and he presented his findings at our fifth conference in Santa Barbara, CA in April of 2008.
